The tradition of sending Christmas greetings via Christmas cards through the mail is still very important and widespread.
E-cards were popular a few years ago, but they are falling out of favour, mainly because they have been used as a means of spreading computer viruses. Personally I refuse to open any e-cards that I have been sent. People still prefer the “real” card that they receive in the mail, and can hold in their hand.
Your child’s photo with Santa, or perhaps your family photo with Santa can by printed on a commercially produced Christmas card to send to all of your relatives and friends next year. To do this you don’t even have to move away from your computer.
